Job Purpose Canoo Technologies Inc. is seeking a dedicated and professional Unarmed Night Shift Security Officer to join our team at our vehicle manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, with prior experience in military police or law enforcement being a plus. Experience in a corporate security environment is preferred.
Responsibilities (80s of the Position) - Monitor and manage entry and exit points to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance to detect and deter potential security threats.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and confidentiality agreements.
- Utilize Microsoft suite of tools for reporting and communication purposes.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
- Multi-task effectively to manage various security responsibilities simultaneously.
Required Experience - Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- CLEET armed/unarmed license preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and handle various responsibilities efficiently.
Preferred Experience - Prior military police or law enforcement experience is a plus.
- Experience in a corporate security environment is preferred.
