Position Summary
We are looking for a high-level Scaffolding Foreman to take full ownership of on-site operations. Foreman is responsible for leading and coordinating scaffold erection and dismantle crew to ensure the safe and efficient execution of all scaffolding and swing activities.
You will manage a crew, ensuring that every build is profitable, safe, and completed to the highest professional standard. This role requires a blend of master-level scaffolding knowledge and strong administrative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision: Manage the daily workflow of Lead Carpenters, Carpenters, and Laborers. Assign tasks and ensure production targets are met without compromising safety.
Client Liaison: Coordinate directly with Project Manager, Construction Manager, site managers, and other construction teams to ensure scaffolds/swings are erected and dismantle according to approved standards and procedures
Documentation & Reporting: Complete daily logs, timesheets, and safety reports. Conduct "Job Hazard Analysis" (JHA) and ensure all engineering drawings are followed precisely.
Problem Solving: The foreman address challenges arise during projects, such a design adjustments, material shortages, or safety concerns, providing practical solutions to maintain workflow and deadline.
Safety Oversight: Act as the Competent Person on-site. Perform final inspections, sign off on tags, and enforce a zero-tolerance policy for safety violations. Oversee housekeeping activities post-scaffolding works to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Identify and report any issues, hazards, or deviations to the Construction Manager for immediate corrective action.
Resource Management: Coordinate with operation department to ensure materials arrive on time. Manage equipment rentals and prevent loss or damage on the job site. Transport scaffolding/swing materials to and from the worksite
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in the scaffolding industry, with at least 3+ years in a Foreman or Supervisory capacity.
Expertise: Mastery of all major scaffolding systems (System, Tube & Clamp, Swing Stage) and shoring.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage crews of 7+ people and resolve on-site conflicts effectively.
Bilingual: Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
Administrative Skills: Comfortable using tablets/smartphones for reporting, reading complex digital blueprints, and tracking hours.
Certifications: * OSHA 30-Hour Construction (Required).
Competent Person Trainer (CPT) Certification.
First Aid/CPR Certification (Preferred).
Reliability: Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to various job sites.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $29.00 – $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
Car Allowance + Gas Card: Monthly Truck allowance and gas card provided.
