About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented HIM Associate I to support Health Information Management (HIM) and medical records operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy, accessibility, and confidentiality of patient health records while supporting clinical and administrative teams. This is a fully remote position, with a brief orientation conducted either in person (if local) or remotely. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain electronic medical records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality Perform Release of Information (ROI) and chart management functions within Epic Scan, index, and manage documentation using OnBase Ensure timely processing, retrieval, and organization of patient records Comply with HIPAA and organizational policies regarding medical records Support audits, documentation requests, and departmental workflows as needed Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ year of experience in Health Information Management or Medical Records Hands-on experience with Epic (ROI, chart management) Hands-on experience with OnBase (documentation management and scanning) Ability to work independently in a remote environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills No on-call requirement Holidays not required (holiday hours deducted if falling on scheduled workday) Orientation held Monday–Tuesday (remote or in person if local) Benefits Offered: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance and other options to choose from. #J-18808-Ljbffr
