We are seeking a disciplined and ambitious Litigation Attorney with 3–6 years of experience to join our medical malpractice defense team. This role is designed for an attorney who balances aggressive advocacy with the "big picture" strategy required by our institutional partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Case Management: Evaluate claims early to develop successful defense strategies that align with client needs and cost-control goals.
• Litigation & Trial Prep: Manage all phases of litigation in both State and Federal Courts throughout California.
• Discovery & Depositions: Lead discovery efforts and conduct high-stakes depositions of plaintiffs and medical experts.
• Law & Motion: Draft sophisticated motions, including summary judgments and trial briefs, maintaining our high standard for written advocacy.
• Client Partnership: Maintain direct, accountable relationships with claims specialists and risk managers at leading insurance groups and healthcare organizations.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 3–6 years in civil litigation, with a strong emphasis on medical malpractice or professional liability defense.
• Bar Admissions: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California .
• Skills: * Proven track record in early conflict resolution and effective case management.
• • Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex medical-legal issues with integrity and diligence.
  • Experience working with insurance carriers and institutional clients is highly preferred.
