Legal Billing Projects Manager

Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

$145,000 – $165,000 base salary

Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote

Our client, a top ranked and highly reputable national law firm, is seeking a Legal Billing Projects Manager to join their growing team.

This is a high-impact, newly created role driven by major firm-wide initiatives and long-term growth. The position will focus on leading strategic billing projects, system implementations, and process improvements across multiple departments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage billing-related projects from planning through implementation
• Coordinate across departments including Billing, AR, Finance, IT, and Compliance
• Partner with Financial Systems teams on system upgrades, testing, and rollouts
• Translate business needs into actionable workflows and system configurations
• Develop project plans, timelines, and success metrics
• Drive process improvements across the billing lifecycle
• Support onboarding, rate structures, and client billing requirements
• Help design and deliver training for new systems and processes

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in billing operations, client accounting, revenue cycle, or financial systems, within a law firm environment.
• Experience working on projects, implementations, or process improvements
• Strong understanding of billing workflows and business processes
• Exposure to Aderant, Elite/3E, or similar systems preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate without direct authority and drive initiatives forward
