About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Medical and Clinical Affairs to lead multidisciplinary teams with a focus on ambulatory monitoring and diagnostics. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic business needs, optimizing portfolio decisions, and ensuring the development of clinical and economic evidence strategies that foster innovation and deliver value to stakeholders. This role involves overseeing clinical risk assessments, contributing to risk remediation strategies, and leading talent development initiatives to build critical competencies in scientific thinking. The Head will also be accountable for operational processes, including those related to business development and M&A activities, and must be adept at influencing organizational direction to meet global external stakeholders' needs. Applicants for the Head of Medical and Clinical Affairs position at the company should hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree, with a minimum of 12 years' experience in relevant medical and clinical fields. A strong leadership background of at least 10 years in a highly regulated environment is essential. The role requires in-depth knowledge of global safety standards and regulations, as well as a proven track record in driving the function's value in product registration and market development. The ideal candidate will have commercial acumen, be customer-focused, and possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills. The ability to lead and manage effectively in a global, matrixed environment is also a key qualification for this senior role.
