1. Demo Ski Technician (Entry Level, Experienced)

General Duties:

• Utilizes product knowledge to assist in selection of demo skis for our demo ski customers.
• Adjusts in-house and customer bindings following manufacturers’ standards.
• Routinely tests function of all rental fleet and customers’ ski bindings.
• Assists in maintaining demo ski and sales inventories.
• Retail sales of skis, ski boots, bindings and other accessories.
• Collaborate with Bootfitters to ensure safety.
• Maintain current binding certifications.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
• Maintain all shop keeping procedures and general shop keeping as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a ski shop preferred.
• Retail Sales experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Snowsports industry products, with emphasis on skiing.
• Experience with POS and Rental Reservation software is preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a high paced environment.
• Enjoys working in a team environment and helping other departments when needed.
• Desire to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods, lifting moderate weight (<50 lbs).
• Preference will be given to those seeking full-time employment; part-time will be considered with a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.

Education:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Individuals with binding certifications &/or experience as ski technician will be given preference.

Compensation: $20-24/hr DOE
