Job Summary Sigma Inc is seeking a
Business Systems Analyst II to join our client's team in
Irving, TX .
The ideal candidate will lead project meetings, gather comprehensive business requirements, and translate them into
automated workflow and technical solutions . This role involves collaborating with customers, supporting collection system applications, and driving process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and facilitate project meetings with leadership and stakeholders to define business requirements.
- Translate business needs into automated workflows, technical designs, and implementation plans.
- Advise customers on system functionality, workflow optimization, and process improvement opportunities.
- Analyze customer workflows and assist in reengineering departmental operations for efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, meeting minutes, and status reports .
- Collaborate with IS and operational teams to implement workflow solutions and ongoing maintenance.
- Perform data analysis and system testing to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct research, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose effective system enhancements.
- Develop presentations, process flows, and reports using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio .
- Support new customer file testing, EMR integrations, and workflow optimization initiatives.
- Provide superior customer service and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Required Skills & Experience - Bachelor's Degree Required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within healthcare provider settings (hospitals, clinics).
- Proven experience in EMR/EHR implementations such as Epic, Cerner, Athena , or related systems.
- Strong understanding of third-party healthcare applications (e.g., Sectra, Waystar, Capsule, Softbank).
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process flow design, and documentation .
- Proficiency with SQL, MS Access, and database query tools .
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, TQM, or project management methodologies .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Experience in developing and delivering training to end-users preferred.
Preferred Qualifications - Healthcare implementation experience with Epic Modules and related 3rd party applications.
- Background in workflow automation, business process analysis , and clinical systems integration .
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
